IntegrityInService.org was started in September 2007. Our primary mission is to create greater awareness about the Homosexual Conduct Policy for the US Armed Service, better known as Don’t ask, Don’t tell. As part of that mission, we will also inform the public about current legislation aimed at repealing Don’t ask, Don’t tell and encourage our readers to contact their Congressional representatives to support such legislation.
Our core values of Freedom, Integrity and Responsibility form a strong foundation for our work. American is the Land of Freedom. Millions of patriotic Americans have volunteered to defend the Freedoms we all cherish - including millions of Americans who identify themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual. All Americans have the Responsibility to protect Freedom. Not all Americans have accepted this Responsibility by volunteering for the Armed Services, but those who wear the uniform are expected to act with Integrity at all times. Don’t ask, Don’t tell compromises the Integrity of gay, lesbian and bisexual servicemembers. The time has come to abandon this ridiculous policy and restore Integrity to our military.
