Well, this article from the current edition of the Washington Blade discusses the upcoming hearings on Don’t ask, Don’t tell and the Military Readiness Enhancement Act. The cool part is that they decided to include a picture of yours truly, along with several other former service members who were discharged under DADT on the front cover. Pretty exciting stuff, but do you ever think we would be showcased in such a way in the Dallas Voice? FYI, I’m not the only resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area that is included - Alex Blais lives in Tarrant County and served as a Spanish linguist in the Army. That and there’s an estimated 13,000 GLBT veterans in the region. Oh well, you know about priorities.

Agree. The cover of this week’s edition of the Washington Blade is very impressive. Gave me goose bumps! I am extremely disappointed at the Dallas Voice.
